Restaurant Night - May 30th

This year marks the third installment of Restaurant Night - on May 30th. Special dishes, culinary shows and the opportunity to meet the chefs are all trademarks of the Poznań-originating initiative. This year’s focus is the tastes of the city, the region and the world. Designer restaurants representing quality culinary products have been invited to be a part of this project.

In each restaurant there is a contest night dish, a special night menu and a demonstration by the chef. You will also have the chance to learn about interesting cooking techniques or plumb the mysteries of wine. It is also a unique opportunity to meet the chefs in person. The best menu and the best night dish will compete for the Restaurant Night Grand Prix.


The night menu will be available from 7pm till 2am or until the last guest.


  • Hugo Restaurant, Dominik Narloch: Złotniki pork cheek, asparagus, aubergine, beets and stomach sweetbread.

  • Bazar 1838, Jacek Fedde: veal brisket stuffed with asparagus and cottage cheese with “szagówki” ( typical Poznań potato noodles).

  • Mariusz Kucharczak, Novotel Centrum Hotel: duck paillard with seasonal vegetables (duck breast stuffed with young carrots, home-made fries, asparagus and pea sprouts).


Restaurant Night will be held simultaneously in a few Polish cities. However, the idea was born in Poznań, which is where the organizers of the event come from.
