St. Patrick's Day in Poznan
St. Patrick's Day is on March 17th, but Poznan celebrations will last 5 days - from 13th to 17th March. St. Patrick's Day is celebrated around the world not only by the Irish, but also by all people who feel spiritual connection with Éire.
During celebrations you can attend to numerous events, including Celtic dance shows art workshops, concerts, lectures and screenings. An additional attraction will be a show of handmade lollipops and candies (obviously green) prepared specially for our guests by „Słodkie czary mary” candy factory.
St. Patrick Christianized Ireland in the fifth century, and became the patron of the country.
St. Patrick's celebrations are held under the patronage of the Ambassador of Ireland in Poland and the Honorary Consul of Ireland in Poznan.
