In an area of over 40 hectares (nearly 100 acres) there is a vast collection of trees, bushes and shrubs from the cold temperate climate zone of the Northern hemisphere. The arboretum is open every day, all year round. It is a great place for family walks. On the spot there is a playground, an educational meadow, a picnic area and educational paths. Many events take place here, attracting both Poznań residents and tourists – the famous Blooming Magnolias, or Azalea and Rhododendron Days.
