Professor Barbara Jankowska new president of EIBA society

We are happy to announce that Professor Barbara Jankowska from the University of Economics and Business in Poznań, took the office of the President of the European International Business Academy (EIBA). Earlier - from 2016 - she held the position of the National Polish Representative in (EIBA), and from 2017 she was a member of the EIBA Management Board for the 2016-2019 term. More: News

New Year's meeting for science and business

Poznań Congress Center/Poznan International Fair

For the second time Honorary Ambassadors of Polish Congresses from Poznań, representatives of local universities and the business sector engaged in the development of the meetings industry have met at the New Year’s gathering. The event was an opportunity to summarize the 2017 achievements and discuss future congresses and conferences. The meeting was organized in the Garden City Restaurant, Poznan International Fair.

MPI Poland Chapter MPEC Training Poznań 2018

Concordia Design

Since autumn 2017 MPI Poland Chapter has been running a series of Meeting Professional Excellence Classes (MPEC) trainings, dedicated to the meetings industry representatives. On the last Monday of January the MPEC training was hosted for the first time in Poznan, in Concordia Design event centre. The workshop covered topic of good practices for project management. Next MPEC event will take place on August 7, 2018.

The 24th World Computer Congress

Poznan University of Technology

We already know three keynote speakers of the 24th World Computer Congress, one of the most important congresses for IT industry, to be held in Poznan on September 17-22, 2018. The following specialists have confirmed their presence:

  • Prof. Wil van der Aalst, one of the most cited computer scientists in the world, top expert in workflow management, process mining, Petri nets, business process management, process modeling, and process analysis;
  • Prof. Leslie Valiant, world-renowned for contributions to complexity theory, Turing Award holder;
  • Dr Shamika N. Sirimanne, director of Division on Technology and Logistics (DTL), UNCTAD, former director of the ICT and Disaster Risk Reduction Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
