Daniel Lismore describes himself as living piece of art. He cooperated with names such as Vivienne Westwood, Naomi Campbell or brands like H&M or Bulgari. Now, this out of the box sculptor invites to his exhibition to the Stary Browar’s Art Gallery. That will present the unique sculptures of the author himslef, dressed in the eclectic costumes made by himself. Some of those he created just for the venue!
Open every day after 12:00, except for the holidays.

Nativity set in the Church on Bernardyński Square

The nativity sets are highly popular in Poland. You can find them in almost every church and most are being preapred with a lot of effort. Some take the impressive sizes. Did you know that the nativity set of the church on Bernardyński Square in Poznań is probably the biggest one in all Europe? It’s kept being created since 1954. The set is made of more than 100 figures – many of the human size. It officially starts on Christmas Eve, December 24th. On the website of the church you can see previous projects way back to 50s. St. Casimir’s Fair

The annual fair deriving from the 400 years old Lithuanian tradition of St. Casimir’s Day. It is connected to the times when Vilnus used to be part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The fair will not be as spectacular as in the capitol of Lithuania, nonethless on that day The Old Market Square in Poznań will turn into the colorful market of regional food and handicraft.
Also, at 11:30 am under the arcades of the historical Town Hall we will encounter members of the Jagiełło dynasty.
It is the best opportunity to taste both cultures: Lithuanian and Polish at one spot.

Christmas Market Poznań Bethlehem   FINISHED

This is the annual Christmas Market of Poznań, the 6th best in Europe according to the European Best Destinations. Again, it will take over two big squares in our city: Plac Wolności and the main, The Old Market Square (from November 30th). Among the attractions mini playground, gastronomical zone and stolls with hot wine, Christmas decorations and handicraft. Big wheel on Plac Wolności will give ghe amazing panoramic view on Poznań’s city center. It is laso the time of POZnan Ice Festival.

POZnan Ice Festival   FINISHED

The international competition of ice sculpting, also known as POZnan Ice Festival. For two days the main square of Poznań will turn into the ice land. The artists from different corners of the world will compete who is about to create the most impressive figure. Also, speed ice carving on the first day will point the artist who can copy presented model in the given time.

March of Three Wise Men   FINISHED

January 6th, 2020 at noon | Wolności Square

For the Epiphany big parade will walk through the city center. It refers to the biblical event of the visit at the newborn Baby Jesus by Three Kings. After the march you can attend the special Holy Mass at the Fara church, being the astonishing example of the baroque style.

Every year city organises new year’s party for all inhabitants and visitors. Recently it got less attention so this time it most likely be big.
