Wierzenica Manor House (Dwór Wierzenica)
No further than 4 km from Poznań, at the very edge of Puszcza Zielonka and among 3,5 hectares of park there is a 19th century manor and family home of one of Poland’s most famous philosophers - August Cieszkowski.
This mansion was raised in 1842 by the Cieszkowski family. Later, it came into the possession of Edward Raczyński - Poland’s president-in-exile.
Each of the five suites is furnished with original, over hundred-years old period furniture, kept in excellent condition. Each suite has a bathroom with a shower or bath, and LCD TV and Internet access. In the basement there is a cinema and a billiard room. The mansion also has an over 140 sq meter terrace. In the summer, when the weather allows, it is the perfect place for an outdoor meal. An over 3,5 hectare park with ancient forest trees (there are two natural monuments in the park area) and a pond are also part of the manor.
